I'm Arean — LA-based playback and recording engineer, mixer, and producer. I've worked with Camila Cabello, Flo Milli, Lil Tecca, JPEGMAFIA, Becky Hill, Muni Long, and more across touring, studio, and film. Studio credits include Vic Mensa's Sundiata album and ongoing work with 070 Shake.
I came up under Grammy-winning engineer Greazy Wil and learned playback from Chris Formanek (Black Eyed Peas, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Travis Scott). That path led to Chainsmokers engineer Jordan Stilwell, ASAP Sound, and building rigs with Fred Carlton of Nerdmatics for artists including Linkin Park, Illenium, Becky G, and J Balvin. Most recently I've been collaborating with MD Edwin Carranza (Camila Cabello, Sabrina Carpenter, Alicia Keys, NeYo). It's been a good run of people to learn from and work alongside.
I handle playback, studio sessions, monitors, and everything in between. I travel anywhere and show up the same way every time — locked in, no drama, focused on the performance.

Tracking, mixing, vocal production, composition, and sound design. I work across every genre and bring the same attention to detail whether it's a full session, a quick overdub, or a beat from scratch. Files are organized, sessions are backed up, and the end product is ready for release.

Redundant playback systems built for reliability. Timecode sync for lights and video, real-time vocal tuning, MainStage patch management, teleprompter integration. The show runs perfectly every night because the system is built that way before we ever load in.

FOH, monitors, and multi-track recording on the road. I work directly with the artist to build a monitor world they can actually perform in, and I handle FOH when needed. Post-show editing, tuning, and overdubs available.

Playback rigs, recording setups, wireless monitoring systems. Built to spec, fully tested, road-ready. Available with or without an operator.
